Day 2: Seven things I lack and covet
1. Confidence. I try my best to keep my head up with thing about me or what I do, but it’s sometimes easier to deny the truth than try to accept the facts.
2. Straight hurr. Most of the time my hair annoys the shit out of me and I wish i had hair that was easier to manage. Unlike my wavy/curly and thick hair.
3. Grandparents. Don’t get me wrong, of course I HAVE grandparents, but I wish I was able to spend time with them before they all past on. I was never able to have that bond between y elder relatives unlike most people.
4. Car. I have my licence and yet no car. I don’t get one until I gradute and it freaking sucks.
5. College. Yeah, I’m going to college… De Anza to be in fact. But I wish I had the opportunity to go to a State or UC even. I know you guys are probably wondering why I’m not but its a really long story.
6. Long term friends from elementary/middle school. Most of us have gone our seperate ways and I only keep in touch with them through facebook. I wish I was closer and kept in touch more.
7. Ability to play an instrument. I can’t play any instrument nor read notes. I wish I could play because it seriously is a turn on.
Day 1: Seven great things about myself
1. I try my best to not make assumptions of other people or things if I have little or no knowledge of them.
2. I like to try new things. If i like it, I try to do it more often. If i dont, its good to say that I atleast tried it out.
3. I choose my words wisely. One word can greatly effect a person’s feelings, so I think about what I’m going to say and make sure i truly mean it. I rather not say anything at all than saying something and taking it back later down the road.
4. I’m a talker and listener in one. If you need advice or simple conversation I’m your go to girl. If you need to vent or want to tell me interesting stories, hit me up up because I’m always ready to listen.
5. Monkey see is not what monkeys do. I don’t follow peer pressure and let others’ opinions reflect my own.
6. I’m easy to entertain whether its stories, jokes, pick up lines, or dumb things people say (no offense).
7. I have my priorities in line already. I know a lot of people can still be confsued about this concept as they go through college but I’ve realized early on who/what really matters.
